Rajasthani royal · A wedding website by The Wedding Fable

Jaivardhan&Rajnandini

26 – 27 November 2027 · Neel Sarovar Mahal, Udaipur

Childhood playmates at a cousin’s wedding in Jaisalmer who lost touch for fifteen years, then found each other again when she, a conservation architect, was restoring the old haveli where his grandmother grew up.

Illustrated Sangeet night on the marble terrace of a lake palace: the bride in a pink and marigold bandhej lehenga twirls in Ghoomar beside the groom in an ivory bandhgala and leheriya safa, women dance around them and two folk musicians play on a durrie under brass lanterns.

Where the lake holds the lanterns, our families sing us into one song.

The Moon Terrace ·

Illustrated garland exchange in a lamplit palace courtyard: the bride in a red Rajputi poshak raises a rose garland toward the groom in an ivory achkan and saffron safa, under a carved toran on the open gateway, with family nearby and a white mare waiting outside.

At the palace gate he arrives; beneath the toran, two garlands, one promise.

The Toran Gate ·
Neel Sarovar Mahal, Udaipur

Illustrated midnight pheras in a white marble pavilion on a lake: the couple, tied by the gathbandhan, circle a small fire while the pandit and parents sit nearby, with floating diyas scattered on the water.

Seven rounds around the sacred fire, while little lamps drift across the lake.

We design bespoke wedding websites: your invitation and every event, with maps and RSVPs for your guests, and it can live on your own domain (like yournames.com). We take on a small number of weddings at a time, so our designer reads every enquiry personally.

If it isn’t an Indian number, please include the country code.

A month is fine if the dates aren’t fixed.
