Ekam&Sehaj

11 – 13 February 2028 · Pind Sarsonwala, Punjab

They met on their college bhangra team in Ludhiana, where Sehaj led the giddha line and Ekam kept missing the dhol cue; four winters later he still asks her to count him in.

Illustrated mehendi in a Punjabi village courtyard: the bride sits on a charpai draped in a phulkari while a woman draws henna on her palms, and women of the family sing and clap around a dholki, with mustard fields beyond the wall.

Henna on her palms, mustard in the fields, and every aunt singing.

Illustrated Punjabi sangeet at night on a farm lawn: women dance giddha in a circle, a dhol player and two young men dance bhangra, the mami carries a lamp-crowned brass gaagar for the Jaago, and the couple watch from a charpai under an indigo sky.

When the dhol starts, even the stars come out to dance.

Illustrated Anand Karaj in a village gurdwara: the groom leads and the bride follows holding the palla as they walk clockwise around the Guru Granth Sahib on its canopied palki, with the granthi, ragis and seated sangat around them.

Not those who merely sit together, but one light in two bodies.

We design bespoke wedding websites: your invitation and every event, with maps and RSVPs for your guests, and it can live on your own domain (like yournames.com). We take on a small number of weddings at a time, so our designer reads every enquiry personally.

If it isn’t an Indian number, please include the country code.

A month is fine if the dates aren’t fixed.
